Working together, there is little that cannot be done; working apart there is little that can be done.

Woodland Heights
Traveling through Woodland Heights shows you what front porch living is all about. People here love to take advantage of their front porches to enjoy their neighborhood. Massive oaks lining wide streets, flower gardens, and some brick sidewalks produce a feeling of home for neighborhood residents.
One of the neighborhood's most attractive features is its proximity to a wide variety of services and shopping. Within the neighborhood are many churches, Bowerman Elementary and Reed Middle Schools, a laundry mat, a convenience store, beauty and barber shops, and an auto repair business. We also offer several restaurants and a leisurely stroll to antique shops, flea markets and other second hand stores. We also have Lafayette Park, a small neighborhood park with picnic and playground equipment and a pavilion.
Boundaries: Woodland Heights' boundaries encompass Kearney on the north, Washington Street on the east, Commercial Street on the south and Kansas Expressway on the west.
