Child Care Grants & Opportunities

Start Up and Expansion Grants

Community Partnership's HB1519 grant allows us to offer small grants to help unlicensed child care providers become licensed and licensed child care providers to increase the number of infant/toddler slots they provide. Providers must serve children receiving DSS child care subsidy as well as agree to become accredited. Grants usually become available in late summer.

Early Accreditation Grants

Community Partnership's HB1519 grant allows us to offer small grants to licensed child care providers to begin the process of becoming accredited. This funding is considered one of the first steps a provider might take in becoming accredited. Providers who choose to accept these funds agree to actively pursue accreditation, and 15% or more of the children they serve must receive DSS child care subsidy. Priority is given to programs that were Start Up and Expansion grantees.
