Housing Collaborative
The mission of the Housing Collaborative is: "To work for the advancement of knowledge on issues related to affordable housing and create a forum for community-wide problem solving ensuring safe, affordable housing for elderly to youth and homeless to homeowner."
The Housing Collaborative fulfills this mission through a committee structure maximizing the community resources sitting around the table, by allowing members to focus on the concerns they are most knowledgeable about and most skilled to address. To this end, members have discovered the success of true teamwork and collaboration through a number of accomplishments.
Housing Collaborative Sub-Committee:
- Continuum of Care: The Christian, Greene and Webster Counties Continuum of Care is the area consortium of homeless and housing service providers. This group ensures that nearly $900,000 in Housing and Urban Development (HUD) dollars are secured for the tri-county area. Click here for more information
