When a problem arises in our community, Community Partnership is more and more frequently the place to which people turn. They know that we can tackle diverse issues such as gang and youth violence, finding resources for teen moms, creating programs for our youngest children, and improving the quality of life for seniors.
We pride ourselves on our ability to achieve positive outcomes and leverage dollars for the greatest benefit to all. In this difficult economic environment, we were able to bring an additional $8.29 for every $1 of state partnership funds received.
We rely heavily on federal and state grants for our funding. Much of this money has been cut due to the economic problems at both of these levels. Our need for private donations is crucial to our ability to provide critical and needed services to our families and communities.
