Mandate Reporter Training

Child abuse is a serious problem in the state of Missouri, but in Greene County the rate of reported cases of child abuse and neglect are higher than the rate in Kansas City and St. Louis. Greene County has a rate of 2,233.9 child abuse and neglect cases per 100,000 people and last year, investigated 3,187 child abuse and neglect reports. Due to our high rate of child abuse, a uniform training program was needed to educate mandated reporters and those concerned about the well being of children.

The Community Partnership of the Ozarks, in collaboration with the Greene County Children’s Division, Greene County Prosecutor’s Office and the Child Advocacy Center, offers Greene County residents a consistent two-hour mandated reporter training. Four general sessions are scheduled throughout the calendar year. However, if an agency has 30 or more employees they would like to have trained, a special training can be arranged. Call Community Partnership of the Ozarks at 417-888-2020 for the session dates and times and to register for a mandated reporter training.
