Recommended Sanctions

of the Greene County Prosecutor's Office.

Allowing a minor, other than your child, to drink in your home, or providing alcohol to a minor, can be a major offense. You can actually receive up to a year in jail, a permanent criminal record and a $1,000 fine...and that’s just for a first offense. So if you're providing alcohol to a minor, or allowing underage drinking at your home, you’re pretty much the one who gets grounded.

With children in the Ozarks starting to drink as early as age 12, these new laws have to be enforced.
