Growing Green

Who: Families and individuals, beginners and garden enthusiasts. All skill levels are welcome!

What: A garden that will provide its volunteers with produce to share take home and share with their families. A percentage of the produce will be taken to the C-Street Farmers Market to help make the garden self-sustaining.

When: Thursdays throughout the summer from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., beginning May 8, 2014. (While the program lasts throughout the summer, a minimum eight-week commitment is all that is required to join!)

Where: the Midtown neighborhood – the garden is located next to Cox North between Jefferson and Benton on Division

Why: Growing Green is a great program for people of any age or skill level to get involved in! It is a great resource for families to gain hands-on experience with gardening and entrepreneurial endeavors. It’s also the perfect opportunity for novice and experienced gardeners to either learn a new skill or hobby, or further develop existing skills and help teach neighbors.
